Project Momentum was launched in February 2007 to raise funds for three very important new initiatives for Westholme. The first of these, a new all weather pitch at our senior school site, was completed in September 2009 and officially opened by Jeremy Hunt MP (Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport).
Another of our initiatives is the Nursery Extension and the work on this project is now underway. Despite the difficult weather conditions over the Christmas and New Year period, the new conservatory on the back of the current building has started to take shape as you can see from these photos, which were taken only 5 days apart over the past week.

We are now raising funds to support the other two parts of Project Momentum:

The Project has been named Project Momentum after careful thought. We wanted a name that encapsulated this important sense of moving forwards, of taking us into the future. Just as pupils of today benefit from the kindness of previous benefactors who provided the Theatre, the Science Block and the Sixth Form Centre, so too will today’s benefactors provide for future generations.
