Holiday Activities

During the school holidays, Westholme pupils can take part in various holiday clubs:

W Club

Westholme welcomes all children from Pre School up to Year 6 to come to Wilmar Lodge for days of activities and fun.

Days are based in the Sixth Form Centre at Wilmar Lodge, the Senior School where the children will be warm and safe but with plenty of space to move about and use the other facilities available. Please click here for further W Club details.

Superskills

Superskills weeks are all about physical and creative development and the activities aim to link to the curriculum so that children can be supported to develop and grow in these areas. Two of the Infant School teachers, Mrs Sutcliffe and Mrs Milnes, help to lead Superskills weeks, and all children from Pre School to Year 6 are welcome to come along.

Craft Week

Craft Week is for anyone aged 7-11 who enjoys arts and crafts. Each day there will be 3 sessions and throughout the week they experience a variety of different art and craft activities. On the final day all work is displayed and family and friends are invited to the exhibition. Craft Week is organised and run by Westholme Staff with the help of some sixth form students.

When? 6th - 10th August 2012
Where? Beardwood Bank
What time? 9am - 3.30pm daily (4pm on final day)
Cost? TBC
Do I need to bring anything? Yes, a packed lunch, some old clothes that can get messy and a smile!

How do I book a place for Craft Week?

Booking forms will be available from your school reception during the Spring Term. There will also be a downloadable form.

Kings Camps

King's Camps is a fantastic week of fun, sport and activity for children aged 3-17 and usually runs at Westholme School on selected weeks during the summer holidays. With a range of over 30 different sports and activities, including everything from tennis, hockey and basketball, to swimming, dodge-ball and craft making, there's something for children of all ages and interests to get excited about. Not to mention the theme days, competitions and team challenges that make each day on camp really special.
