Communication, Language and Literacy Skills
This area is about communication with one another, developing listening skills, learning through talk, singing, signing, speaking and listening; fostering a love of spoken and written language.
Children are encouraged to talk about their feelings, needs and thoughts and to retell their experiences. It is also about the early stages of learning to read and write.
