Geography
Learning about the world around them leads Year 1 pupils to look at maps, discover how people in other parts of the world live and to notice the changing weather and seasons.
They go on trips nearby and to places quite a long distance from school and love to compare their lives with those of children who live in other parts of Great Britain and in the wider world.
