After School Care
School TimesAll pupils may arrive from 8.15am and are expected to leave as school ends.
All Years 7, 8 and 9 pupils must leave the school premises by 4.10pm or report to the library where supervision can be provided if booked in advance through reception.
All years 10, 11 and Sixth Form pupils may stay in the library to complete coursework and other research after school until 5.50pm without any additional charge but they must sign the after school register in the library. There is an informal arrangement whereby pupils in Years 10, 11 and Sixth Form who need to complete examination coursework, are allowed to use the school library with its computer room. The Librarian is on duty until 4.30pm and the IT Technician until 5.00pm. After that we trust pupils to report any problems to the staffroom and/or to ancilliary staff who are on duty. Pupils should vacate the premises by 5.50pm to allow ancilliary staff to clear the premises and lock up by 6.00pm.
Year 7, 8 and 9 After School Care
There is an after school service in the school library for pupils in years 7, 8 and 9. Pupils will be expected to use their time wisely and there will be adult supervision in the library. The pupils will be asked to complete homework and/or read and/or complete artwork.
There will be a daily charge of £7.00 per session made for each pupil staying after 4.00pm.
Parents will be charged half-termly in arrears for this service.
The after care provision will close at 5.50pm to allow ancilliary staff to clear the premises and lock up.
