Destination of Leavers
We are very proud of the fact that so many of our students go onto their first choice destination after A Level study. This is really what counts that Westholme has prepared the pupil for the future of her choice.
Typically, around 10% of our girls gain places at Oxbridge, but this obviously varies from year to year.Edinburgh, Durham, St. Andrews, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Bath, Bristol, London and Liverpool are other popular destinations. Extensive internal guidance is given to make sure the student is given optimum advice about which universities offer the best courses - whether that be rigourously academic, or more practical in nature.
There is always great variety and depth in the destinations and subject choices of our girls. This typifies the colour and choice in our environment here at Westholme.
