Facilities
At Westholme we consider the Sixth Form as a half way house before going on to higher education. We therefore feel it is important that the facilities reflect this.
The Sixth Form students have the best of both worlds as they are very much part of the Senior School but also enjoy their own purpose-built Sixth Form Centre.
The Sixth Form Centre was opened in 2004 and includes a spacious and welcoming common room, lecture theatre, a suite of classrooms dedicated to the sixth form students as well as their own cafeteria.

Students have a work area in both the sixth form centre and in the library which is dedicated to them and where they have access to computers. In this way, independent study is encouraged and the girls learn to become more autonomous in their study time. Girls obviously have full access to all the other school facilities including all the laboratories, theatre, sports facilities and specialized classrooms for individual subjects.
