With most of our Year 11 students moving on into Sixth Form, there can be a sense of how will I fit in? If you are coming here from another school. Hopefully, the information you find in this section will put your mind at rest.

Facts and Figures

We regularly take in between 6 and 12 new Sixth Formers and this number is increasing every year. The most important point is that you will not be alone.

Help in settling in

Each new student is paired with one or two existing students to act as their 'buddy'. They will be in your form group and some of your A-level classes. Their role is to ensure that you settle into everyday school life and will help with simple tasks such as finding your way around, making sure you know the timing of the school day, where to get lunch, what other students do at break time etc.

We also have an extensive induction programme that helps all students adapt to life in the Sixth Form.
