All Westholme parents and staff automatically become members of the Westholme Association which exists to foster good relations between parents, past pupils and the school and to arrange a wide variety of social and fund-raising activities.
The Committee meets at least once a term. This is organised by the parents. A number of staff from all five Westholme departments serve on the Committee. More information regarding the Westholme Association events can be found by clicking the links on the right hand side. For further information on how to join the Committee, please contact the Chairperson, Mrs Carina Lamb at carina@claytonhall.co.uk or via any school office.
Over the last twelve months, the Westholme Association has organised many social events for parents and children to enjoy, including the Spring Fair, Golf Day, Billinge House Disco, the Ceilidh Evening and the Annual Winter Ball.
Each year the Association raises in excess of £20,000. The Westholme Association pays half of the cost of the book tokens for prizes at the Girls' Junior School, the Boys' Junior School and the Senior School for Girls' Prizegiving events.
Added to this, the Association annually provide the children at Westholme with some luxury extra items and activities requested by the five school sites. This year some of these items include The Nursery's turtle buggy canopy, Sibelius music software, a Yamaha clavinova, the ice rink event at Billinge House, Junior Tubulate Workshop, the Year 6 trip to Fairhaven, picnic tables and outdoor play equipment for the Boys' Junior School, art equipment for the Senior School, CD listening stations and magazine subscriptions - to name but a few!
