Although every parent automatically becomes a member of the Association when their child starts at Westholme, some wish to get more involved. This would mean becoming a member of the Committee.
Election onto the Committee takes place at the AGM every October, if places are available. This AGM is held at the Senior School and you will be notified by a letter that it is taking place, with all the details, so you may attend. The Committee is limited to a membership of 25 with representation from parents from all of the individual school sites. A waiting list system operates when the Committee is at capacity.
Becoming a member of the Committee is a serious responsibility but it is also a lot of fun! For further information on how to join the Committee, please contact Mrs Carina Lamb (carina@claytonhall.co.uk).

One member says, "I really wanted to do my bit for the School. I have made new friends by being on the Committee, have had some great evenings out, I've even gained confidence in myself. And what's more everything we do is for the children here. I am really pleased I made the decision to apply to go onto the Committee. I'll just be sorry when my son and daughter leave!"
