Second Hand Uniform Sales
The Westholme Association holdsregularsecond hand uniform sales in the hall at the Girls' Junior School, Beardwood Bank. These Sales provide parents with a great opportunity to resell items of their children's school uniform that they no longer use.
In recent years, members of the Westholme Association have worked extremely hard to organise and streamline the uniform sales and the results have been staggering! We now not only provide parents with an invaluable service of being able to purchase 'good as new' items at a fraction of the cost, but in turn the uniform sales have given the Association a vital revenue stream, allowing us to provide the pupils with 'that something extra'.
Uniform Sale
The Uniform Sale held on Saturday 24th September and with a hundred people through the doors, it was once again a fantastic success! Almost £1,400 profit was raised in just one hour - with every penny going towards giving the childen of Westholme that extra something! In addition to this, over £1,400 was returned to parents, so everybody benefits from the Uniform Sales!
We see each sale growing in popularity and that is due to the hard work of the committtee members, led by Julia Anderson, who have worked tirelessly to provide parents with an invaluable and affordable service.
The next sale will be on Saturday 24th March 2012 (10 am - 11am) at Beardwood Bank Hall.
