Charlotte's inspirational GCSE results
Westholme pupil, Charlotte Addison, has defied adversity and achieved a fantastic eight GCSEs today.
Charlotte was diagnosed with a brain tumour in March this year and suffered a stroke during surgery to remove the tumour. Charlotte had put in so much effort and hard work prior to her illness, and today she was able to celebrate her 4 As, 1 B and 3 C grades. Charlotte is now recovering well and is regaining movement in her right arm and leg.
This is such a tremendous achievement - Charlotte has kept her spirits up despite her serious illness and is an inspiration to us all.
