Football at Billinge House
Some of the children in Sports club were selected to represent the school as part of the Billinge House football team. They were looking forward to a match against St Mary’s, Osbaldeston, however the match had to be cancelled due to our visiting team being poorly.
Nevertheless in true Westholme spirit Mrs Sutcliffe proclaimed “the show must go on!” and although the visiting team were absent, the children played against one another and their parents enjoyed watching all the fun in the Sports’ Hall at Wilmar Lodge.
The final score was 4-4.
We hope that our opposing team feel better soon and we look forward to inviting them back in the New Year.
