Junior Schools' Carol Service

Westholme Junior Schools' Carol Service took place in Blackburn Cathedral.

The afternoon began with the Boys' Junior School Lunchtime 'Carols in the Cathedral'. They all sang beautifully and it was apparent how much hard work they had all put in, rehearsing with Mrs Burton.

As the congreation listened intently, they were treated to a number of solo singing performances and readings, not to mention the lovely songs from each of the four Boys' School classes.

Afterwards, they joined together with the Girls' Junior School  to take part in the main Carol Service.

Here, the pupils performed readings, carols and musical pieces.  Throughout the afternoon, the congregation joined in singing the traditional carols and everyone left feeling uplifted and excited for Christmas.

Special thanks to all of the staff at the Junior Schools' who have put in a tremendous amount of hard work in order to produce such a wonderful service.
