Senior UK Mathematics Challenge 2011
The Senior Mathematics Challenge is aimed at sixth form students studying mathematics at A level. This prestigious competition had over 65,000 students from across the UK sitting the challenge, with only 6% receiving gold certificates, 13% receiving silver certificates and 21% receiving bronze certificates.
This year the following students received awards:
Gold and Best in School: Lesley Foster
Silver: Rebecca Moore
Bronze: Rachel Nattrass, Gemma Wignall, Heather Wilkinson, Raesa Desai
Lesley Foster also qualified for the next round of the competition, the Senior Kangaroo.
