The Velveteen Rabbit
On the last day of the Autumn term, the Speech and Drama Club at Billinge House performed 'The Velveteen Rabbit' to the children and teachers. 'The Velveteen Rabbit' is a children's novel, first published in 1922 and written by Margery Williams.
The children played out the story of a toy velveteen rabbit and his quest to become real through the love of his owner. The performers were fantastic and the audience really enjoyed the Christmas treat.
