AJIS Indoor Sportshall Competition
Our girls and boys Indoor Sportshall team went to Robin Park, Wigan, to participate in the AJIS Indoor Sportshall event, which was hosted by Westholme School. The event was organised by none other than Mrs Griffiths (or Mrs G as the girls affectionately call her!) and Mrs Daley and consisted of 18 schools.
Our girls and boys team all put in a tremendous amount of effort in each of their performances. Events such as Balance, Speed Bounce, Chest Push and Long jump proved to be some of our strongest, as we came away with an array of medals in each category. Soft Javelin and the Relay races were also events in which Westholme excelled.
The day was a fantastic show of grit, determination and team spirit, all of which shone brightly amongst the many teams taking part.

Under 10s - Gold
Lois McTiffin – 1-lap, Eloise Littlefair – 3-lap, Ryan Thomas – Balance, Emily Berry – Vertical Jump, Girls Team – Obstacle Relay, Molly Robinson-Taylor – Soft Javelin, Eloise Littlefair – Triple Jump and Lois McTiffin – Long Jump.
Under 10s - Silver

Natasha Kay – Chest Push and Joseph Shield – Long Jump.
