Westholme’s Year 8 pupils shook off their winter blues and enjoyed a Friday evening in school participating in Dance, Team-Building, Singing and Drama.  The girls raised £275 for the Blackburn with Darwen Young Carers’ Project.  Representatives of the Project had been to school to talk about their work and pupils felt they wanted to do something to help.  The cheque was presented to Laura Dixon and Huma Sheikh on behalf of Child Action Northwest’s Young Carers’ Project in this morning's assembly.
