Easter was extended at W Club last week which began with making and eating chocolate Easter nests and decorating biscuits. The children also enjoyed making an Easter wreath, a fingerprint Easter tree and ended the day with an Easter egg hunt around the school.
The following day, the children designed and made an African mask and a stick puppet. Characters included Ariel, Punch, a fairy and some children made themselves into puppets.
The excitement continued throughout the week when the children turned themselves into superheroes. They made capes, masks and wrist cuffs.
The week ended with a morning movie watching Paddington 2 and treats, followed by playing a variety of board games including headbands, scrabble, connect 4 and battleships.
Throughout the week the children also enjoyed playing outside in the sun with the PE equipment and on the trim trail. The children also enjoyed downtime creating designs with Hama beads.
