Childcare Vouchers are a tax efficient way to pay towards the cost of your childcare. Utilising a Government Initiative, parents are allowed to receive up to £243 of their monthly salary as a childcare voucher, equivalent to £55 per week.
This increases an employee’s net monthly salary by £75.33p.m. (£903.96 pa) for a basic rate tax payer and £99.63 p.m. (£1,195.56 p.a.) for a higher rate tax payer.
Employers also benefit as the value of the voucher is also exempt from National Insurance and they also save 12.8%.
