Billinge House staff enjoy a tea party for Carol Foster
Billinge House staff gathered together this afternoon for a tea party to celebrate the retirement of Carol Foster. Mrs Foster, has taught at Billinge House for 11 years and it was only fitting that this should be marked with a special event. Later this week, an assembly will be held in order for the children to say goodbye, however, today’s event was so Mrs Foster’s colleagues could wish her well too.
A superb spread, made by the Infant School catering team was laid out in the staff room and was enjoyed by all, before Mrs Bolton presented Carol with her very own school report. We discovered that Carol is great at Science – and is particularly green fingered. The Billinge House gardening club have benefitted from her skills greatly over the years. We also learnt that Carol enjoys Geography and has taken many a school trip to various parts of Lancashire, although her favourite place, Lytham St Anne’s has been reserved for Carol’s eyes only!
We wish Carol a long and happy retirement and thank you for being such a wonderful colleague!
