Sports Day for Year 1 and 2 children
Today saw the Year 1 and Year 2 pupils take part in their sports day. As the children arrived onto the field at Wilmar Lodge in their respective Houses, parents and friends cheered from the sidelines.
Events began with the running races followed by the over and under race and the obstacle relays. All children were excited to be taking part and encouraged their team mates throughout the whole afternoon.
Soon enough, events drew to a close and Mrs Bolton announced that the winners were Pendle, followed by Longridge in second place and Bowland in third.
The highlight of the afternoon had to be the parents race. The children delighted in the role reversal and happily cheered on their mummies and daddies.
