Year 10 present a charity film evening for our new Year 7 girls
On Friday 11th December, Year 7 girls spent a night at the movies. The theatre was transformed into a cinema and the Year 10 JAC Team (Justice Awareness Charity) provided fun, excitement and interval treats! The feature film was ‘17 Again’ and everyone came in fancy dress. Great fun was had by all – with all proceeds going to charity.

Westholme helped to prepare me for my path into politics – my time at the school gave me the knowledge and the confidence that I could achieve anything. Anything at all!
Westholme helped me to understand that in life hard work always beats natural talent. So, everywhere I go now I always make sure I’m working harder than my competition – this allows me to achieve my dreams.
At Westholme I was taught that no dream was too big. We were encouraged to aim for the stars, which I did and succeeded! Knowing I had their constant support even to this day, anything was possible.
At Westholme, aspirations were encouraged strongly, along with a clear ethos that working hard was the way to achieve them. It’s an attitude that has been incredibly positive for me.
More than anything, Westholme taught me to be fearless in my aspirations. It was an environment which encouraged me to stay true to myself, and to treasure and cultivate my creativity.
I think that it is extremely important that people aim for the best and keep their aspirations for the future high. Aspirations and dreams are hugely motivating.
