Year 6 pupils enjoy a visit to Quarry Bank Mill
Year 6 pupils donned their finest Victorian outfits and travelled back in time to Styal, Manchester, for a taste of life 150 years ago.
The day involved a spinning and weaving workshop, a visit to the Apprentice House (where young apprentice mill workers lived) and a whistle-stop tour of the spinning and weaving sheds where the pupils could watch the machines in action.
An excellent day was enjoyed by all.
