Amazing A Level Results at Westholme

Westholme students delighted with their fantastic results!

There was much to celebrate this morning at Westholme School with an overall pass rate of 100% in 24 subjects, 73% of grades being A*, A or B. 11% of the Westholme students gained the top excellence grade of A*.

Fifteen girls in total all gained a minimum of three A grades. Westholme is delighted that we have no less than eight girls who are going off to read medicine at university and one vet and one dentist also.

Emma Waterhouse gained four A*’s and is now going to read Modern & Medieval Langauages at Emmanuel College, Cambridge. Victoria Green gained 3 A*’s and an A and is taking up her place at St John’s College, Cambridge where she will study Engineering.

Head Girl Vanessa Shields is going to study Biology at Bristol after gaining 3 A’s, whilst Sachi Shah got an A*, 2 A’s and a B. She will be going to Leeds to study Medicine.

Natasha Bondre got 3 A*’s and a B, and is thrilled to be going to Warwick, where she will study English. Rosie Glassbrook gained 2 A*’s and an A, and will be studying Sustainable Development at St Andrews.

Westholme also sees its first A level Mandarin student gain a grade A.  Rebecca Stanford also gained A* grades in mathematics, biology and chemistry and is off to read biochemistry at Imperial College, London.
