Annual Art & Photography Exhibition

On June 22 we were delighted to showcase the artistic abilities of our amazingly talented students in the annual Art & Photography Exhibition.

Held in the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) after school, we welcomed parents and students alike to see their magnificent artwork, displayed beautifully throughout the room.

Alongside the work of 42 Year 11 and Year 13 students, this year was particularly exciting with the addition of 16 AS Level artists and photography students. It was also the first time some of our GCSE photographers had had their work exhibited.

The work on display was a feast for the eyes and clearly demonstrated the passion and dedication which our fabulous students have shown even in the face of adversity, during the pandemic.

As was the case last year, the Visitor’s Choice Award was up for grabs for the most popular piece of artwork on show. Every visitor had a single vote to choose their favourite individual exhibition. It was a very tough call for many people to pick just one as there were so many worthy winners – with over 60 exhibitions to choose from.

This year’s winner of the Visitor’s Choice Award, who maintained her winning streak from last year, was INSPIRED Sixth Former Sienna – well done Sienna!

Thank you to all the parents, family members, friends, students and members of staff for coming to the exhibition and for making the event such a success.
