Senior School Carol Service

Festive cheer was in the air last night as the whole of the Senior School community headed to the Cathedral for the annual Carol Service, led by Canon Pastor Rowena Pailing.

The readers delivered thought provoking words to the congregation whilst the choristers and musicians filled the cathedral with uplifting hymns and inspiring movements.

This event really captures the true meaning of Christmas and we had some tremendous performances with traditional carols such as ‘Once in Royal David’s City’ and ‘O Come All Ye Faithful’.

The carols and readings were interspersed with fabulous musical pieces, including performances from the String Orchestra, Brass Band and a heavenly Harp Duet.

Both the Junior and Senior choirs delivered some outstanding vocal performances which filled the cathedral with Christmas joy!

By the time the celebration drew to a close with the upbeat ‘Hark! The Herald Angels Sing’, everybody was feeling extremely jovial – a great night was had by all!
