Reception children have a visit from Bobby the Owl
Leon’s Daddy brought Bobby the Owl in to visit the reception classes. He had visited the children when they were in Pre-School. They saw how much he has grown, especially his enormous claws and eyes!
The children enjoyed watching Bobby move; swivelling his neck around and flapping his huge wings. We all had a stroke of his beautiful soft feathers and watched Bobby fly to Mr Boast’s hand.
The children asked many questions and they found out that Bobby can find his way back home by recognising places, that he eats meat and that he makes a screeching noise when he is hungry.
What a brilliant visit from Bobby!
