Remembering Mrs Jepson

We are saddened to announce the passing of former pupil and PE teacher Elizabeth (Liz) Jepson (née Scott) aged 84 following a short illness. Liz attended Westholme between 1944-49 and returned to the Senior School as a PE teacher in 1972 where she taught for 28 years before retiring in 2000.

Mental Health Week

Students and staff at Prep marked ‘Mental Health Week’ by focussing on the theme ‘Growing Together’. This theme focussed around the concept of growing emotionally and thinking about ways to help each other grow.

Westholme Sports Awards 2022

On Friday 29 April we were thrilled to be able to celebrate our students’ wonderful sporting achievements of the past 12 months at the Sports Awards 2022, especially because we had to miss out last year due to the pandemic. This made the night feel even more special.

Let’s Go Sing!

On Thursday 28 April, having rehearsed in Ewood Park through the afternoon, Westholme pupils from Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 joined a choir of 4,200 children to sing that evening.

Holistic Awards

The Westholme Holistic Award programme has continued this term after it’s successful launch last year, and since the new year students at the Senior School have been busy working hard to achieve their Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.
