Last week saw some of our students represent Westholme in an official capacity.
Many of our Infant School students entered the Blackburn Speech Festival as school representatives over the weekend.
Saturday night saw The Croston Theatre play host to a special Gala Concert, where we said a fond farewell and offered sincere thanks to our Music Maestro, Mr Millest.
Westholme’s History department received some fantastic news yesterday when they were informed they had been awarded the Gold Historical Association Quality Mark. The Quality Mark (QM) is an award that recognises the excellence of history provision in a school. The QM assesses and values the history provision of the teacher, their department and the school and what is being offered to young people.
On Saturday the Westholme Association Spring Fair was held at the Senior School, and there was a fantastic turn out again this year.

The annual Westholme Association Family Quiz and Bingo Night was hosted at Blackburn Rugby Club once more.
Over the last two Friday evenings the ever popular 6-a-side Primary Schools’ Football Tournament took place under our floodlights on the all-weather pitch.
