Unfortunately due to Covid, the Infant School have not been able to perform their annual Nativity play as usual this year.
Every year, the children at the Infant School, take part in a poppy competition to raise money for the Royal British Legion.
Our Pre School children have been excited preparing all week for their Halloween Party that took place this afternoon.
Last week, our Pre School children were having lots of fun with various activities over half term.
On Thursday and Friday this week, our students took part in a charity cake sale to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, with huge help from Thomas Franks who baked all of the wonderful treats.
Today, we were delighted to welcome our new Year 7 and Lower Sixth Form students to the school.
We were delighted to open our new Pre School building yesterday. All children (and staff!) were pleased to finally be in their new home and had lots of fun playing together and familiarising themselves with their new space.
This summer we have said a fond farewell to the iconic building that is Billinge House. We have been preparing to leave for the past few months as part of our new redevelopment programme, and we have enjoyed looking back on its history.
The children in Reception had a fantastic time at the ‘Grip and Go’ climbing wall in Haslingden. They had great fun exploring the all different climbing walls.
Year 2 had a wonderful trip to Staircase House Museum in Stockport which rounded off a very exciting topic on the Great Fire of London and the Plague of 1665.
