Macmillan Charity Cake Sale
On Thursday and Friday this week, our students took part in a charity cake sale to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, with huge help from Thomas Franks who baked all of the wonderful treats.
Infant & Junior school lunchtime activities
Today, the Infants and Juniors took part in various activities during their lunch break at Beardwood Bank.
End of an Era – Leaving Billinge House
This summer we have said a fond farewell to the iconic building that is Billinge House. We have been preparing to leave for the past few months as part of our new redevelopment programme, and we have enjoyed looking back on its history.

Infant and Junior Sports Relief
On Friday children in Infants and Juniors paid a pound to come into school in ‘home’ sports kit to raise money for Sport Relief.
The Infant, Junior and Senior eco-committees met all together for the first time this week.
Infant and Junior World Book Day Celebrations
On Friday, children at our Infant and Junior Schools celebrated World Book Day and reading by dressing up (either as a character or in Pyjamas) and taking part in an action packed day of activities and fun!
Jan from the NSPCC came to talk to Infants and Juniors in their assemblies and they explained in a child friendly terminology what the NSPCC do to help children.
Pancake Day in Pre School
The children in Pre School have enjoyed tasting delicious pancakes today, we then decided that we would try and make our own in the malleable area.

Red, White and Blue Day is always a significant event in the fundraising calendar at Westholme Infant and Junior Schools.
