We move closer and closer to the new year, when the Westholme Family will come together to celebrate 100 years of unrivalled holistic excellence, and this week we had a taste of what that celebratory atmosphere will feel like, as a large number of Old Westholmians returned to school as part of our Mock Interview event.
Towards the end of June we welcomed a whole host of Year 12 students to our INSPIRED Sixth Form induction day, where they could enjoy a taste of what it would feel like to be a Sixth Form student at Westholme.

Last week marked the culmination of two years of hard work for our Year 13 students. As they finally disembark from the Westholme ship, they head off into new pathways and exciting futures.
On Thursday evening we had the pleasure of welcoming everyone to our annual Spring Concert.
The Westholme Enterprises scheme has been up and running since 2015 to allow members of the INSPIRED Sixth Form to develop their business skills and hone their entrepreneurial flair by creating their own business.
Earlier on this term, the Amnesty Human Rights Group made up of members of our INSPIRED Sixth Form gave up one of their human rights for the day, to raise money for people currently suffering in Afghanistan.
Congratulations to Molly, our Sports Captain and INSPIRED Sixth Former for making her international Show jumping debut! Molly flew out to Portugal and competed in her first International competition. She wrote about her experience below:
Between March 7 – March 12 was National Careers Week, and there were several things that were made available to students throughout organised by Head of Careers Mrs Hibberd. In addition, there were also online events including the NCW Virtual Careers Fair that students could attend ‘virtually’.
We’re delighted to say that Julia, our Deputy Head, received some fantastic news this month after being given an open offer to study Biology at Oxford University.
The new term has seen the re-introduction of the popular co-curricular activities programme which launched last year, with a revamped schedule and activities list for students of all ages across the Senior School to enjoy.
Members of Westholme’s Amnesty Human Rights Group are building a petition to help raise awareness for the release of two British-Iranian nationals held against their will in Iran – both imprisoned in Iran for charges they strongly deny.
