Year 7 pupils present cheque to Southlands Residential Home
Westholme welcomed representatives from Southlands Residential Care Home to a special school assembly to receive a cheque for £295 which was raised at the Night at the Movies evening held in December.
Each Year 7 form had given a charity presentation in their EPR lesson – charities had to be either local or of personal interest and these included Dyslexia Action, the East Lancs Hospice and Ronald McDonald House at Alder Hey. The winning bid was for Southlands Residential Care Home by pupils in 7M.
