We were delighted to welcome the Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen to the Junior School this morning.
Two of our pupils, Hafsah in Year 5 and Elsie in Year 3, had been declared runners up in a competition run by the Mayor, to design his new official Christmas Card.

The Mayor presented Hafsah and Elsie with certificates of achievement and prizes in front of the Christmas Tree at Beardwood Bank, and congratulated them on their creativity.
Mrs Barnett and Mrs Horner were also present to congratulate them on their awards.
