Red Rose Cross Country League Presentation Evening
The Red Rose Cross Country League Presentation Evening was held on Friday evening – and what a night it was for Westholme runners!
Alexa McTiffin won the Under 11s category, Katie Buckley took the Under 15s trophy and Beckie Taylor was awarded the Under 17s title.
The Red Rose League is a long-running league which puts on four races throughout the cross country season. Runners from many local clubs compete, mainly from Lancashire but also some from Yorkshire and Greater Manchester, attracting about five hundred competitors at each race meeting.
