Children enjoy Easter activities at Superskills
34 children took part in the Easter Superskills fun and games. They learnt and improved skills such as swimming, cricket, football, bench ball, uni hockey, dodgeball, badminton and table tennis. The children also decorated hard boiled eggs which they rolled in the Easter egg rolling competition. Prizes were awarded for the best decorated eggs and the egg which rolled the furthest.
On Thursday, the children boarded the ‘Superskills Bus’ and went on an action packed trip around the sportshall visiting several areas of interest such as ‘The Royal Ropes, Corgi Race Track, Buckingham Badminton and Balmoral Benches.’ Unfortunately the Queen was too busy at Blackburn Cathedral so the passengers of the Superskills bus didn’t get to see her!
One of the week’s highlights included Raft Building in the pool, some amazing floats were designed!
A great week was had by all. Many thanks to Mr and Mrs Milnes, Mr and Mrs Sutcliffe, Mrs Moores-Hart, Ben, Charlotte, Kiara and Tabby.
Superskills is running during the first three weeks of the summer holidays.
