Ten Westholme students and their teachers ventured to Scotland in August to perform at the world’s largest Drama Festival. Out talented students performed their powerful devised drama about life in a women’s prison entitled ‘Original Sin’ at a popular venue in Cowgatehead, wowing  audiences with their physical and vocal skills. We succeeded in developing a strong fan base which helped us to attract packed-out audiences each night.

Performing in the evening meant that everyone was free to explore the Festival in  full during the day, watching the very best of live theatre, dance and comedy throughout the week’s stay. We came home in the school minibus exhausted and yet truly inspired and we will take with us lifelong memories from the Fringe experience.
