On Friday afternoon, Year 12 took part in an afternoon of Employability Skills workshops to help them to identify and learn how to develop key employability skills that are essential in the world of work.
The sessions covered interview skills, transferable skills and how to make yourself stand out when writing CVs and application forms. Students were given an insight from an employer’s perspective and received many handy hints to guide them in their interview preparation and job/university applications.
The informative sessions were delivered by representatives from Cummins Mellor, Maintel Ltd and Thomas Franks and we are extremely grateful to them for giving up their time to support and advise our students.
