English Schools Cross Country Championships

Westholme through to Regional Finals of English Schools Championships!

On Wednesday 6^th October Westholme’s Junior and Intermediate Cross Country teams travelled to Cheshire to compete against other schools from the North West of England in the English Schools Championships.

Every girl competed in true Westholme style and did their absolute best to complete the course ahead of their adversaries!

The Results:

Junior Team (Years 7 & 8)

Maddie Ainsworth (9^th), Flora Robson (12^th), Grace Taylor (25^th), Jade Connelly (35^th), Maddie Laing (42^nd),  Katie Beardmore (44^th).

The Junior Team came in 4^th position.

Intermediate Team (Years 9 & 10)

Katie Buckley (1^st), Lucy Davis (2^nd), Megan Davis (3^rd), Hannah Dobrashian (18^th), Emma Dean (26^th), Sophie Taylor (29^th).

The Intermediate Team came first and is through to the Regional Finals.
