Wesstholme host the English Schools’ Cross Country Cup
Westholme held the first round of the English Schools’ Cross Country Cup at Witton Park. 18 schools from all over Lancashire took part in this prestigious event. Westholme entered a Junior girls, Junior boys and an Inter girls team.
We did extremely well and all the runners who took part should be incredibly proud if their efforts. The junior girls team finished in 4th place overall with Natasha Rogan finishing in 11th place, Laura Backhouse in 13th place and Lucy Lambert in 14th place. The junior boys team finished in 11th place with Dominic Naylor storming ahead in 17th place. Finally, our inter girls team finished in a fantastic 3rd place with Lucy Fielden finishing in 7th and Molly Nelligan in 14th place.
Congratulations to the Junior and Inter girls teams who have made it to the REGIONAL ROUND which will be held at Wavertree Park in Liverpool on Saturday 9th November.
