A Level Geography Trip to Scout Moor Wind Farm
On Friday the Year 13 Geographers went on their last field trip together. The students climbed up onto Scout Moor plateau, near Rochdale, to assess the social and environmental impact of this huge wind farm and its planned expansion, on the surrounding area.
Whilst standing beneath the whirling blades, they had a heated debate, eloquently arguing for and against this industrial development on Green Belt land.
As always they were totally committed and brilliant and made Mrs Buckley and Mrs Brown tremendously proud!
