A Westholme Hockey Tournament with a difference!
The inaugural Senior School fancy dress hockey tournament took place last Thursday evening. The event was open to all year groups with the tournament consisting of five teams: the Elves, the Reindeer, Christmas Trees, Father Christmases, and the Fairies. There were also a couple of snowmen acting as ‘refreeze’ (referees).
It was an extremely close tournament which went right to the last game! Congratulations to the Elves who were crowned Christmas Fancy Dress Indoor Hockey Tournament winners 2011. Runners-up were the Fairies and third were the Reindeer.
Best fancy dress costumes went to Layla Ahmed, Megan Preedy, Sarah McHugh and Paasha Ahmed.
