Westholme’s production “Peter Pan” opens to a sell out audience in the Westholme Theatre
Westholme’s Christmas production of Peter Pan got off to a flying start when it opened last night to a sell-out audience. The music was composed by Westholme French teacher, Miss Emma Holmes, and the show was directed by Head of Drama, Miss Catherine Roberts.
Pupils donned wired harnesses to bring the iconic scenes of the story to life – and Royal Shakespeare Company actor, Nick Asbury, choreographed fight scenes between Peter Pan and Captain Hook.
With a massive double cast and just twelve weeks to prepare our very own version of the JM Barrie classic, there were times when a little extra sprinkling of fairy dust was required! The cast, crew and production team have given their all to produce this wonderful Christmas show which will be enjoyed by all the family.
And yes, we do believe in fairies, we do, we do!
