Flying high with the Volcano Competition!

Volcanoes not a problem at Westholme!

There have been no problems caused by volcanoes here at Westholme – quite the opposite!  In fact, volcanoes were celebrated in the geography department’s annual competition.   Miss Edgar judged the competition and found it extremely difficult to select the winners.

Claudia Pearson was given third place with her volcano model and detailed fact file on Mount Etna.

Harriet Dagnall came second with a very cleverly designed model of Mount Cleveland in Alaska.

First place was awarded to Sophie Ludlam with an amazingly realistic and very detailed model of Mount Semeru in East Java, Indonesia.
