Another magical musical evening in the Westholme Theatre
Last night, 500 parents came to watch the Junior Girls in their annual Musical Evening in the Westholme Theatre. The evening was kicked off with some beautiful performances from the brass band, Y3 choir, string and cello groups, recorder group and of course the Junior School orchestra. The children proved how hard they have been working on their musical talents over the past year and at the interval, the audience looked forward to the second half whilst munching one of the famous Westholme shortbread biscuits!
The second half was of course no disappointment as the girls sang, acted and danced their socks off in their performance of Annie Jr, the well known story of an orphan in 1930’s New York determined to find her parents. It was another fantastic evening, and the audience could only be impressed by the girls’ confidence and talent.
