Adventures in the Yorkshire Dales
At the start of the summer holidays, two groups of Sixth Form students and Miss Thompson completed a four day Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expedition in the Yorkshire Dales.
The weather was kind for the most part and they all did very well, especially as a Gold expedition is the toughest challenge that some of them have ever faced. They took it in their stride and made it look easy!
They battled on with heavy rucksacks exploring the picturesque landscape of the Yorkshire Dales and enjoying some relatively tourist-free walks and campsites.
Well done to all participants!
