Selection for the Great Britain & Ireland Golf Team
We were thrilled to hear the news that Sophie Lamb has been selected to represent Great Britain and Ireland V the Rest of Europe in the U16s in France. Sophie will travel with the GB & Ireland team on 25th June, returning on 30th June. This is a fantastic achievement for Sophie as only the top six girls get selected. It means that she is moving up the golfing ladder extremely quickly!
In addition to this, Sophie has also been selected to represent England at U18 level in this summer’s European Championships in Sweden. At just fifteen years old, she is by far the youngest member of this six girl team and is obviously another fantastic honour for her.
