Cheque presentation for the 10 pence Challenge
This morning we welcomed back Elisabeth Devey, a former pupil, to the Senior School to receive a cheque for the ’10 Pence’ Challenge, in which the students and staff took part earlier this month.
Elisabeth had visited the school recently to talk about the Head Smart Campaign, which aims to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of brain tumours in children and teenagers on behalf of the Brain Tumour Charity. She challenged the students and staff to donate 10 pence and in return they each received a Head Smart symptoms card.
Thank you to all of those who took part in the challenge and to Elisabeth who has worked so hard to bring the Head Smart Campaign to the attention of our school as well as to so many others.
