House Cross Country

The Boys’ Junior School pupils battle it out in the House Cross Country Competition

The House Cross Country competition took place on the sports field at Wilmar Lodge.  

Fortunately, the rain from earlier in the day managed to clear up, but it did leave the terrain rather muddy!   As the whistle blew to signal the start of the race, many of the boys set off at an amazing pace.   The mud did play havoc with our runners though, as many of the boys could be seen retrieving lost trainers from the boggy ground!

Well done to all the boys who took part.   Particular congratulations went to the following boys:

1^st – Dominic Naylor (Bowland)
2^nd – William Backhouse (Bowland)
3^rd – James Hartley (Pendle)

Overall House results were as follows:

1st – Pendle
2nd – Bowland
3^rd – Logridge
