What a splendid Infant Sports Day! The weather was kind, the parents in good voice and the children were superb!
Every child took part in four races, a hurdles race, a sprint, and obstacle race that included jumps and throws and a whole house relay that included some agility work.
From the PE Department perspective, it was wonderful to see every single child trying their hardest and doing so with a smile on their faces, enjoying themselves. It doesn’t matter if they came first or last, only that they were there and taking part. Everyone excelled and we are very proud of each and every child that participated.
The younger children and the parents also enjoyed some races and it was great to see them setting an example for their children to copy of racing in good humour!
